Ricardo Pereira , full name Ricardo Domingos Barbosa Pereira (born October 6, 1993 in Lisbon ) is a Portuguese football player .

Career

In the club

Ricardo Pereira played in his youth for the Lisbon clubs CF Benfica and Sporting before he finished his training with Vitória Guimarães after a year at Naval 1º de Maio . On April 1, 2012, he made his debut in the Primeira Liga . In the 2012/13 season he played 27 league games. In addition, he scored six goals in the cup in six appearances, including the winning goal in the final against Benfica Lisbon , which led to the club's first cup win. For the 2013/14 season , Pereira moved to FC Porto . There he played in both the professional and reserve selection. For the 2015/16 season was loaned to OGC Nice .

In the national team

Ricardo Pereira made 35 international appearances for Portugal's junior national team and scored 12 goals. He was part of the Portuguese squad that finished second in the 2015 U21 European Championship . On November 14, 2015, he made his debut under national coach Fernando Santos in a friendly against Russia in the senior national team .
