Harvey Lewis Barnes (born December 9, 1997 in Burnley ) is an English football player .

Career

Barnes began his career at Leicester City , whose academy he came across at the age of nine. In September 2015 he played for the first time for the reserve team of the "Foxes". In September 2016 he made his debut for the U-19 team in the Youth League . Leicester was eliminated in the group stage with just three points that could be won with a 3-2 win over FC Copenhagen .

In December 2016, Barnes finally made his debut for the Leicester pros when he came on as a substitute for Danny Drinkwater on matchday six of the group stage of the 2016/17 Champions League against FC Porto in minute 76 .
