Rolf Müller (born December 1, 1947 in Gelnhausen ) is an association official and former German politician ( CDU ). From 1978 to 1988 and again from 2003 to 2014 he was a member of the Hessian state parliament and from 1989 to 1991 State Secretary in the Hessian State Chancellery .

After graduating from the Grimmelshausenschule in Gelnhausen in 1966 , Rolf Müller studied German and political science at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main until 1972 . From 1972 to 1974 he worked as a clerk at the Wolfgang-Ernst-Gymnasium in Büdingen from 1974 to 1978 teacher at the vocational schools in Gelnhausen. Müller is a member of the CDU. From 1970 to 1978 he was a city councilor in Gelnhausen and from 1974 to 2012 a member of the district council of the Main-Kinzig district , there from 1990 as parliamentary group chairman.

Müller first belonged to the Hessian state parliament on December 1, 1978.
