Rudolf Neumayer
Rudolf Neumayer (born May 18, 1887 in Vienna ; † August 25, 1977 there ) was an Austrian financial expert and politician .
Rudolf Neumayer headed the finance department of the city of Vienna from 1924. From 1936 to 1938 Neumayer was Finance Minister for the Schuschnigg and Seyß-Inquart governments . In 1938 he became director of Wiener Städtische Versicherung, in 1943 he became head of the main office of the public accountants . After the Second World War, Neumayer was sentenced to life imprisonment as a member of the Nazi government in 1946, but was released from prison in late 1948 due to illness. In 1906 he became a member of the Vandalia Vienna fraternity and then in 1932 of the Albia academic fraternity in Vienna .
