The Ruta 45 is a national road in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Routing

The road has a length of 92 kilometers and leads through the northeastern foothills of the Cordillera de Lípez .

The Ruta 45 runs from north to south in the southern part of the Tarija Department and is a branch of the Ruta 1 , which leads here in the south of Bolivia from Tarija via Padcaya to Bermejo . The Ruta 45 begins seventeen kilometers southeast of Tarija and then runs parallel to Ruta 1 for long stretches along the Río Camacho , it ends at the Argentine border at the village of Mecoya .

The Ruta 45 is paved from the north to Cañas, the remaining 40 kilometers to Mecoya are largely gravel and dirt roads.

history

With Ley 3382 of April 17, 2006, the road was declared part of the Bolivian national road network " Red Vial Fundamental ".
