German Chess League 2000/01 (women)

The 2000/01 season was the tenth season of the women's chess Bundesliga . The SG Heiligenhaus , TSV Zeulenroda and Spielvereinigung Leipzig were promoted from the 2nd Bundesliga in 1899 . While Heiligenhaus achieved relegation, Zeulenroda and Leipzig had to relegate directly; third relegation was the SC Leipzig-Gohlis . As in the previous year, the Dresdner SC and the SK Turm Emsdetten finished the season tied at the top; the playoff saw Emsdetten this time with 3.5: 2.5 victorious.
