Scott Brennan
Scott Brennan (born January 9, 1983 in Hobart , Tasmania ) is an Australian rower who won Olympic gold in a double scull in 2008.
Brennan started rowing in 1995. In 2001 he finished second in a single at the Junior World Championships ; In 2003 he won the one at the U23 World Championships . At the 2004 Olympic Games , Brennan missed the Australian double foursome to make it into the finals and finished in seventh place. At the 2007 World Rowing Championships on the Oberschleißheim regatta course near Munich , he and David Crawshay took second place in a double scull in the B final, but was twice third in the World Cup. In Beijing at the 2008 Olympic Games , Brennan and Crawshay surprisingly won the gold medal in the double scull.
Scott Brennan graduated from the University of Tasmania with a medical degree in 2007 . In December 2015 he married the rower Kim Crow .
