Seamounts (pomerania)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Seeberge was a residential area in the Prussian province of Pomerania .

The living space consisted of a group of seven farmsteads (dismantling), which were northwest of the village of Groß Jestin . The farms were laid out on cleared forest areas in the second half of the 19th century. Since around 1880 they have had the place name "Seeberge". The place name comes from the hills in which the farms were located and was derived from Lake Jestin, which was drained in the 19th century . From 1914 to 1920 a road was built from Groß Jestin to Neurese , and the farms have been on both sides of the road since then.

In 1885 there were 41 inhabitants in Seeberge, in 1895 also 41 inhabitants and in 1905 23 inhabitants.

Until 1945 Seeberge formed a residential area in the community of Groß Jestin and belonged with this to the Kolberg-Körlin district in the province of Pomerania .

After 1945, the place of residence came to Poland , like all of Western Pomerania . Today the place is in the area of the Polish Gmina Gościno (urban and rural municipality Groß Jestin) .
