Culture and sport
Sights are the spacious park and quay with various sculptures (including Heureka by Jean Tinguely and Sheep Piece by Henry Moore ), the Chinese garden and the last building designed by the architect Le Corbusier . Also to be mentioned are the two seaside resorts Tiefenbrunnen and Utoquai , the botanical garden and the old villas as well as the Tiefenbrunnen mill , a former brewery and mill that is now used as a cultural and meeting center. In Seefeld there are an above-average number of delicatessen shops, hairdressers and law firms . Seefeld is very popular as a residential area, but also correspondingly expensive.
With FC Seefeld Zurich , the quarter is represented in the first division , the third highest division of Swiss football .
traffic
The Tiefenbrunnen train station is located in the quarter and is served by the S6 and S16 lines of the Zurich S-Bahn every quarter of an hour. The tram lines 2 and 4, as well as the trolleybus line 33 of the Zurich transport company (VBZ) and the bus lines 912/916 ensure the fine development .
Since the main axis of the right bank of Lake Zurich leads along the lake into the city, the area along the lake is heavily polluted by road traffic and Bellerive Street separates the lake shore with its parks and the compact residential and business area.
From the Zürichhorn (Tiefenbrunnen) seaplanes operated by the Swiss airline Ad Astra Aero were used in the 1920s .
