The Mont-Gibloux transmission tower is a reinforced concrete transmission tower on the 1204-meter-high Gibloux summit, belonging to the municipality of Sorens , a low mountain range southwest of Freiburg in Switzerland.
The height of the architecturally interesting concrete structure of the tower is 62 meters, on which stands the antenna, which is almost the same height.
The 118.7 meter high Mont-Gibloux transmission tower has a viewing platform 37 meters high, which is accessible via a spiral staircase with 198 steps. The platform is open to visitors from April to October. The radio tower can be reached in about 45 minutes via hiking trails from different sides.
