The Sheikha Al Saad Kuwait Open 2007 took place from April 5th to 11th, 2007 in Kuwait City . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2006/07 and belonged to the Super Series Platinum category . The prize money was $ 200,000. The women's tournament was part of the WSA World Tour 2006/07 and belonged to the Gold 35 category . The prize pool was $ 58,500.

Defending champion in the men's race was Hisham Mohd Ashour , who was eliminated in the first round this year after successfully qualifying. The top seed Amr Shabana and Ramy Ashour contested the final . Ashour won the game 11-5, 11-3 and 12:10. In the women's category, Nicol David defended his title with a final win against Natalie Grinham . David defeated Grinham 9: 6, 10: 8, 2: 9 and 9: 1.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 32 players, eight of which were reserved for qualifiers. The 16 best players were seeded. The women's competition consisted of 16 players, four of whom were qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Bader Al Hussaini a spot in the main draw of the men.
