Sierk Radzei (born March 11, 1977 in Kaiserslautern ) is a German actor .

Life

Sierk Radzei studied at the State University for Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart (among others with Volker Canaris , Felix Müller, Michael Hutmann, Susanna Vetter-Hunzelmann, Hans-Peter Bögel , Marcus Calvin and others) and graduated in 2001 2000 guest at the Stuttgart Schauspielhaus, he received his first engagement from 2001 to 2005 at the Schauspiel Staatstheater Stuttgart (artistic director: Friedrich Schirmer ). From 2005 he was still engaged as a guest under the new director Hasko Weber , but at the same time he was also a permanent member of the new ensemble of the Schauspiel Essen with Anselm Weber . Nominated several times as the best young artist (including in the trade journal Theater heute , Die Welt, etc.), he was voted actor of the year 2008 in a critics' survey in NRW . In January 2011, the successful production of Woyzeck , with Sierk Radzei in the title role, directed by the lead director David Bösch , was taken over by the Schauspielhaus Bochum . In Bochum, Radzei can also be seen in the world premiere of Eisenstein , in the production of artistic director Anselm Weber at the side of Dietmar Bär . In the 2011/2012 season, Radzei joined Martin Kušej's new team as a permanent member of the ensemble at the Bavarian State Theater in Munich .

In 2015 he played Tiger Brown in Brecht / Weill's Mackie Messer - a Salzburg threepenny opera in Martin Lowe's new musical arrangement at the Salzburg Festival .
