Sigrid Plundrich (born September 24, 1979 in Ebenhofen ) is a German opera and concert singer ( soprano ).

Life

Sigrid Plundrich studied singing at the University of Music and Theater Munich and music theater at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding . Her teachers included Wolfgang Brendel , Helmut Deutsch , Frieder Lang and Christian Gerhaher . During this time she also attended master classes with Krisztina Laki , Christoph Prégardien and Peter Konwitschny . She is a scholarship holder of the German Stage Association .

From 2007 to 2010 Sigrid Plundrich was engaged at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz . She has been working as a freelancer since 2010.
