World Snooker Championship / Statistics
This article lists statistics for the World Snooker Championship .
Most statistics refer to the World Championships from 1977 onwards, as the rules regarding mode, size of the field and duration of the games have been standardized and thus comparable since the move to the Crucible Theater in Sheffield . In many categories (especially prize money or breaks achieved ), however, the top placements are almost exclusively occupied by players who have been active since the aforementioned period.
For a chronologically sorted overview of all final games since 1927 see the list of world champions in snooker .
