Macedonia took part in the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing , China , with two athletes. Vanco Karanfilov was the flag bearer at the opening ceremony. The most successful athlete was the marksman Olivera Nakovska-Bikova with a 5th place in the individual in the discipline of 10 meter air pistol class SH1.
