Stay + ( English "Me +") is the first best-of album of the German - Russian DJ Zedd .

Creation and publication

With two exceptions, all of the lyrics were written by Anton Zaslavski (Zedd) in collaboration with changing co-authors. The writers Antonia Armato and Tim James from Rock Mafia and the two Gray members Kyle and Michael Trewartha are the only musicians who wrote on more than one contribution. The other authors represented on the album are only involved in isolated cases. Sarah Aarons, Noonie Bao , Alessia Cara , Charles Hinshaw, Fabienne Holloway, Anders Frøen, Tristan Landymore and Linus Wiklund each have two author participations due to remixes. All titles were produced by Zedd. The American electro duo Gray was at his side on two titles. Furthermore, Zedd made one production each with the Swedish producer Max Martin , the American producer duo Rock Mafia and the producer Linus Wiklund, who also came from Sweden. The album contains a compilation of selected single releases by Zedd between 2014 and 2017.

On the cover of the album you can see - next to artist name and album title - Zedd. The background of the cover picture is purple, in the middle there is a picture of Zedd's upper body, who is looking to the left. The picture is a cutout, on the original you can see Zedd together with Cara. The recording was made during the music video shoot for the common single Stay . The photo was taken under the direction of Tim Mattia.

The first release of Stay + took place on December 27, 2017 under the music label Interscope Records . The album was released on CD and download and was distributed exclusively in Japan by Universal Music Publishing . The special thing about the release of the album was that it was initially only available on CD and was only available for download two days later. Stay + consists of a total of twelve studio recordings made up of eight regular recordings, three remixes and one megamix.

Stay + is Zedd's first best-of album. All the song lyrics on the album are in English and, with two exceptions, all come from Zedd, who wrote them in collaboration with co-authors. With the exception of Beautiful Now and a few tracks from the Zedd Mega Nonstop Mix , all tracks can be found on a Zedd album for the first time. So far, the pieces have only been published as guest contributions to other artists or as singles. In Adrenaline is an instrumental piece. For all the remaining songs, Zedd was supported by changing guest singers, Zedd can only be heard sporadically in the background and otherwise mostly works as an instrumentalist on the pieces.

The Zedd Mega Nonstop Mix is a mega mix consisting of the following tracks: Bumblebee (feat.Botnek), Get Low (with Liam Payne ), Stay (with Alessia Cara ), Find You (feat.Matthew Koma & Miriam Bryant ), Spectrum (feat. Matthew Koma), I Want You to Know (feat. Selena Gomez ), Stay the Night (feat. Hayley Williams ), Clarity (feat. Foxes ), Beautiful Now (feat. Jon Bellion ) and Addicted to a Memory .
