The Strubenberg is a nature reserve in the town of Mansfeld in the district of Mansfeld-Südharz in Saxony-Anhalt .

The nature reserve with the registration number NSG 0080 is 12.19  hectares . It is surrounded by the "Harz und Vorländer" conservation area. The area has been under protection since May 1, 1961. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Mansfeld-Südharz.

The nature reserve is located east of the Mansfeld district of Friesdorf and south of the Rammelburg district in the Harz / Saxony-Anhalt nature reserve (Mansfelder Land) . It protects a near-natural beech forest on the west and north exposed slopes of the Strubenberg , which gives it its name. The plateau edges and slopes are occupied by species-rich woodruff beech forests. The herb layer is made up of single-flowered pearl grass , forest ziest , gnarled figwort and glandular balsam . In addition, on sites rich in bases, forest barley , arum , daphne and Märzenbecher are found, and on fresh sites , forest ragweed , wild garlic and forest fescue. Oak-rich hornbeam and red beech forest grows on the shallow crests and ridges. Here in the herb layer grows u. a. Whitish grove rims , hornbeam grass and common goldenrod .

Old wood stocks with a high proportion of dead wood offer u. a. Stock dove and black woodpecker are suitable habitats.
