The Weinfeld is a nature reserve in the town of Mansfeld in the district of Mansfeld-Südharz in Saxony-Anhalt .

The nature reserve with the registration number NSG 0180 is around 25  hectares in size. It is congruent with the FFH area "Weinfeld northwest of Mansfeld" and is surrounded by the landscape protection area "Harz and Vorländer". The area has been under protection since 1998 (date of regulation: July 8, 1998). The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Mansfeld-Südharz.

The nature reserve is located northwest of Mansfeld in the Harz / Saxony-Anhalt nature park (Mansfelder Land) . It protects the slopes of the Kernberg, which are exposed in western and southern directions, along a side valley of the Wipper in the eastern Harz foreland that sometimes carries water. In the southern area of ​​the nature reserve there are valuable semi- arid grasslands . They are shaped by fescue species . Furthermore, u. a. Pigeon scabies , yellow scabies , vertebrate fish , Austrian flax and sickle carrot are characteristic species. The areas are partially covered with sloes , common hawthorn , black elder and wild rose species , including the endangered Rosa micrantha. The garden honeysuckle reaches its northern limit here. In addition, there are abandoned orchards with plum , apple and cherry trees , in the area of ​​which also hawthorn and privet grow, as well as steep slopes with dwarf shrub heaths . The common heather can be found here in particular . Wooded areas connect to the north.

The semi-arid grassland areas are the habitat of endangered butterflies , grasshoppers and ground beetles . They also host a species-rich avifauna . So come here u. a. Sparrowhawk , blackcap , goldenhammer and Fitis , in the area of ​​the orchard meadows also reversible neck . In the wooded areas are u. a. Blackbird , chaffinch , robin and small woodpecker are native.
