history
The place was probably only created in the late Middle Ages as a spin-off from (Ober) Reichenbach .
At the end of the 18th century there were 12 properties in Unterreichenbach. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Bayreuth Fraischvogteiamt Emskirchen-Hagenbüchach . The village and community rulership was held by the Brandenburg-Bayreuth Vogtamt Hagenbüchach . The sole landlord was Brandenburg-Bayreuth: Monastery office Münchaurach (1 Höflein, 1 Gütlein), Vogtamt Hagenbüchach (2 Höflein, 4 estates, 2 Gütlein, 2 Köblersgüter).
In 1810 Unterreichenbach came to the new Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the community edict , the place was assigned to the Oberreichenbach tax district formed in 1811 . In 1813 the rural community of Oberreichenbach was formed, to which Unterreichenbach belonged. With the second community edict (1818) the rural community Unterreichenbach was formed, to which Buch belonged.
The municipality of Unterreichenbach was subordinate to the district court of Markt Erlbach in administration and jurisdiction and to the tax office of Neustadt an der Aisch in the financial administration . On April 1, 1836, the community was assigned to the Herzogenaurach Regional Court , and finally to the Herzogenaurach Rent Office on October 1, 1847 . From 1862, Unterreichenbach was administered by the district office of Höchstadt an der Aisch (renamed the district of Höchstadt an der Aisch in 1938 ) and continued to be administered by the Rent Office Herzogenaurach (1920–1929: Finanzamt Herzogenaurach , from 1929: Finanzamt Erlangen ). The jurisdiction remained with the district court of Herzogenaurach until 1879, 1880–1959 district court of Herzogenaurach , from 1959 district court of Erlangen . The municipality had an area of 7.306 km².
On January 1, 1972, Unterreichenbach was incorporated into the newly formed municipality of Aurachtal as part of the regional reform , while Buch was incorporated into the Weisendorf market .
