The Constitutional Court of the Republic of Lithuania (Lithuanian Lietuvos Respublikos Konstitucinis Teismas ) is the guardian of the Lithuanian constitution and is, on the one hand, an independent constitutional body and, on the other hand, part of the judicial state authority in the special field of constitutional law .

The court began its work on August 2, 1993.

The court has nine members elected by the Seimas for nine years. Re-election is excluded. Three of the members are appointed by the President of the Republic , the President of the Seimas and the President of the Supreme Court .
