Comparison of the divisions of the Swiss Alps

The following list compares the division of the Swiss Alps according to the Swiss Alpine Club , SOIUSA and Alpine Club division of the Eastern Alps / AVE. As a reference, the alpine guides of the Swiss Alpine Club are listed at the front. If an alpine guide falls into several groups of SOIUSA or AVE, he will be listed several times. The SOIUSA provides for several levels: sector to supergroup . The most exact equivalent of the alpine guide is the lowest SOIUSA level that is filled out. If no level is filled in the SOIUSA or AVE, there is no equivalent.
