Villa General Miter
Villa General Miter is a district in the center of the Argentine capital Buenos Aires . It has 34,000 inhabitants (as of 2001) on an area of 2.2 km² . The population density of the district is just under 15,500 inhabitants per km² and is thus slightly above the Buenos Aires average of around 13,500 inhabitants / km².
Villa Grail. Miter is bounded by Condarco streets, Av. Gaona, Av. Tte. Grail. Donato Álvarez, Av. Juan B. Justo , Av. San Martín and Av. Álvarez Jonte .
In 1908 the district was named after General Bartolomé Miter , who was also President of Argentina from 1862 to 1868. It is predominantly residential area, characterized by quiet streets, trees and simple houses.
