The winner was the Spaniard Angelino Soler . The points classification was also secured by a Spaniard in Antonio Suárez . The mountain stage won, just as it did in the previous year, the Spaniard Antonio Karmany . The team competition was won by Team Faema , also from Spain, and the Spaniard Vicente Iturat won the Meta Volantes classification for the fourth time in a row.
