The Kamenz constituency was a state electoral district for the state elections in Saxony in 1990 , the first state election after the re-establishment of the state of Saxony. Its constituency number was 24.
The constituency covered all cities and municipalities in the district of Kamenz : Bern break , Biehla , Bischheim-Häslich , Brauna , Bulle Ritz , Cosel-Zeisholz , Crostwitz , Cunnersdorf , German Baselitz , Elstra , Friedersdorf , Gersdorf-Möhrsdorf , Gottschdorf , Gräfenhain , United grave , Großnaundorf , Grüngräbchen , Hausdorf , Höckendorf , Kamenz , Kleinhänchen , Koitzsch , Königsbrück , Laußnitz , Lieske , Lückersdorf-Gelenau , Milstrich , Nebelschütz , Neukirch , Oberlichtenau , Oßling , Ostro , Panschwitz-Kuckau , Prietitz , Räckelwitz , Ralbitz , Rauschwitz , Reichenau , Reichenbach , Röhrsdorf , Rosenthal , Schmorkau , Schönbach , Schwepnitz , Skaska-Döbra , Steina , Straßgräbchen , Weißbach b. Königsbrück , Weißig and Zschornau-Schiedel .
For the 1994 state elections , the constituency structure was changed as a result of the district reform, and the number of constituencies was reduced from 80 to 60. The area of the constituency of Kamenz was divided into the constituencies Westlausitz 1 and 2 in 1994 .
