The constituency of Westlausitz 2 was a state electoral district for the Saxon state elections in 1994 and 1999 . He had constituency number 54 for these elections.
Constituency area
The constituency Westlausitz 2 was formed in 1994 from the following cities and municipalities of the two previous constituencies Hoyerswerda II - Bautzen IV and Kamenz : Bernsdorf , Bluno , Bulleritz , Burghammer , Cosel-Zeisholz , Dörgenhausen , Geierswalde , Groß Särchen , Großgrabe , Großnaundorf , Grüngräbchen , Höckendorf , Klein Partwitz , Koblenz , Koitzsch , Königsbrück , Laubusch , Laußnitz , Lauta , Leippe-Torno , Lohsa , Nardt , Neukirch , Neustadt , Neuwiese , Oberlichtenau , Oßling , Reichenbach-Reichenau , Sabrodt , Schönteichen , Schwarzkollm , Schwepnitz , Seidewinkel , Spohla , Spreewitz , Straßgräbchen , Tätzschwitz , Wartha , Weißig , Wiednitz , Wittichenau , Zeißig and Zschornau-Schiedel .
For the 1999 state election there were changes due to incorporations. The communities of Bluno, Geierswalde, Klein Partwitz, Nardt, Neuwiese, Sabrodt, Seidewinkel and Tätzschwitz were now part of the newly formed community of Elsterheide . The municipalities of Burghammer, Neustadt / Spree and Spreewitz were now part of the newly formed municipality of Spreetal . In addition, there were various incorporations of previously independent municipalities in different cities. On the other hand, the district of Koblenz, which now belongs to the municipality of Knappensee , the district of Weißkollm , which belongs to the municipality of Lohsa, and the district of Spohla of the city of Wittichenau changed to the constituency of Hoyerswerda (WK 55). The district of Bärwalde in the municipality of Lohsa changed to the constituency of Lower Silesian Upper Lusatia 1 .
The constituency structure in Saxony was changed again for the 2004 state elections . The area of the constituency was divided into several constituencies. A large part of the West Lusatia 2 constituency became part of the Kamenz 2 constituency . The communities Großnaundorf , Oberlichtenau and Schönteichen moved to the constituency Kamenz 1 while the communities Elsterheide, Lohsa and Spreetal moved to the constituency Hoyerswerda .
