Crottendorf moated castle stable

The Crottendorf moated castle stalls are an abandoned early medieval moated castle immediately east of the railway line in Crottendorf, a district of the Bindlach community in the Bayreuth district in Bavaria .

Nothing has survived from the former castle, the owners of which are known to be the von Seckendorffs . Next to this Niederungsburg to the west was a second abandoned castle on the 384 meter high hill, the Burgstall Crottendorf .
