The Tower Hill Hermersreuth is an Outbound Turmhügelburg (Motte) in Hermersreuth , a modern district of Gefrees in the district of Bayreuth in Bavaria .
The castle complex was mentioned in 1370 as a “house”, a castle-counts fief of Hermann Santner and around 1426 a fief of Rüdiger von Sparneck .
The medieval tower hill is still preserved from the former moth enclosure with an outer wall in the south, north and east, which was surrounded by a water-filled ditch .
