The Turmhügelburg Teinitz is an Outbound medieval hilltop castle from the type of a motte (moth) on a 525  m above sea level. NHN high mountain spur on the Altstraße above the Königsheide about 100 meters south-southeast of the center of Gossenreuth , a district of the Markt Weidenberg in the Bayreuth district in Bavaria .

The owners of the castle, the name of which is derived from the Slavic “tynec”, which means “small castle”, were named the lords of Tanndorf in the 15th century and the lords of Künßberg in the 16th century .

The tower hill and the moat are still preserved from the former moth enclosure . The castle site is now protected as a ground monument number D-4-6036-0005: Medieval tower hill .
