Wolfgang Sasse

Wolfgang Sasse (born July 11, 1921 in Dresden , † November 8, 1993 in Coburg ) was a German actor and radio play speaker .

Life

After the Second World War , Wolfgang Sasse received private acting lessons in his hometown and was also allowed to play his first role at the Theater für Kinder, Dresden, Deutsche Volksbühne . This debut was followed by engagements in Plauen, Meiningen, Schwerin and Karl-Marx-Stadt, where he was on stage from 1958 to 1962. He then went to the Volksbühne Berlin , of which he was a member until 1986. Now, already as a pensioner, he left for the Federal Republic of Germany and got a few small roles in television films here.
