Yanick Dubé (born June 13, 1974 in Gaspé , Québec ) is a Canadian ice hockey player who has been under contract with EC Bad Tölz since September 2010 .
Career
Yanick Dubé began his playing career in his home country with Laval Titan in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League . In 1994, the right-handed striker was selected in the fifth round of the 1994 NHL Entry Draft in 117th place by the Vancouver Canucks . In 1994 and 1995 Dubé completed 24 games for the Canadian national team . He got ten points, four of which were goals.
After a few years in the American Hockey League , Dubé moved to Europe, Switzerland, in 1997. He then moved to EC Bad Tölz for the first time, a club where he felt comfortable and to which he was drawn again and again later. After further seasons in Switzerland, Dubé went back to Germany. In 2005 Dubé took on German citizenship . Until 2009 he played again in Bad Tölz, where he was a crowd favorite among fans. After the relegation of Upper Bavaria Dubé signed a contract with the Wölfe Freiburg for the 2009/10 season . At the end of the season, his contract was not extended.
In September 2010 Dubé signed again at EC Bad Tölz.
