history

The place was first mentioned by name in 1400 as "on the Zigelhof".

Towards the end of the 18th century, the brickworks belonged to Lehrberg. The property was owned by the Brandenburg-Ansbach Vogtamt Birkenfels as the landlord . Under the Prussian administration (1792-1806) of the Principality of Ansbach, the brickworks received house number 100 in the village of Lehrberg. From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the judiciary and chamber office of Ansbach .

As part of the municipal edict, the brickworks was assigned to the Lehrberg tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Lehrberg, founded in 1811 . The Ziegelhütte has now risen as part of Ballstadter Strasse in the Lehrberg district.
