Hypoviridae is a fungal virus family.

Virology

Hypoviridae was the first family of viruses described that lacked a capsid.[1] and does not assemble any virion to spread. The virus never leaves its host and probably replicates in pleomorphic host-derived lipid vesicles. Transmission is probably dependent on host hyphal anastomosis.
