1st Yugoslav Football League 1948/49

The 1st Yugoslav Football League in 1950 was the 21st season of the highest Yugoslav division in men's football . It began on March 5, 1950 and ended on November 12, 1950.

The NK Hajduk Split got his third championship title with a total of 28 points in the table. The FK Red Star Belgrade was able to celebrate its third cup victory in a row.

Ten teams played against each other twice on a total of 18 match days, divided into a first half and a second half. After FK Naša Krila Zemun was dissolved at the end of the season, only the last was relegated directly. The penultimate played in the relegation against relegation.

    After a third duel between the two teams in Zagreb ended 2-2, FK Spartak Subotica was able to win the subsequent draw and thus stayed in the 1st Yugoslav football league . NK Odred Ljubljana , however, had to remain in the 2nd Yugoslav football league .
