The 1st Yugoslav Football League 1961/62 was the 33rd season of the highest Yugoslav division in men's football . It began on August 20, 1961 and ended on May 2, 1962 because of the upcoming World Cup in Chile .
Defending champion FK Partizan Belgrade became Yugoslav champions for the fourth time.
