The 1st Yugoslav Football League 1983/84 was the 55th season of the highest Yugoslav division in men's football . It began on August 14, 1983 and ended on May 30, 1984.

The FK Red Star Belgrade was Yugoslav champions for the 15th time. For the first time there was promoted FC Prishtina .
