The 1st Yugoslav Football League 1969/70 was the 41st season of the highest Yugoslav division in men's football . It began on August 24, 1969 and ended on June 28, 1970.

Defending champion FK Red Star Belgrade was Yugoslav champion for the tenth time and the double for the fourth time .
