ANT: Attention Nature Talents (Original Title: ANT Farm ) is an American television series by the Walt Disney Company . It was written by Dan Signer , who was also involved in the production of Zack & Cody on board . In November 2010, the Walt Disney Company gave the green light for the first 13 episodes. Production of the first season began in early 2011. The first trailer was shown during the premiere of Lemonade Mouth .
In October 2012, the Disney Channel announced the production of a third season. In January 2014, the discontinuation of the series was announced. The broadcast of the third and final season began on May 31, 2013 and ended on March 21, 2014.

The series is about the students Chyna Parks, Olive Doyle and Fletcher Quimby, who participated in a program called the “Attention Nature Talents Program” or “ANT Program” (English Advanced Natural Talents (ANT) ) for very gifted children attend Webster High School in San Francisco .

Leading roles
Chyna Parks ( China Anne McClain ) is a musically gifted 11-year-old student who is part of the ANT program. She is the main character in the series and plays twelve different instruments. In one episode, she realizes that Fletcher is in love with her.
Olive Doyle ( Sierra McCormick ) is an omniscient student. She has an eidetic memory , so she can remember everything that she has heard, seen or read before. She used to be afraid of the other students, which she overcame thanks to Chyna. She has several phobias, including claustrophobia . By the end of season three, she and Fletcher become a couple.
Fletcher Quimby ( Jake Short ) is an artistic genius. He is Chyna and Olive's best friend. He's had a crush on her since he first saw Chyna. Whenever he sees Chyna with another boy, he becomes jealous, but tries to keep his feelings for her to himself, which he does not always succeed. He also tries to impress Chyna whenever possible.
Alexis "Lexi" Reed ( Stefanie Scott ) is a high school student. She directs all the musicals at the school, is president of the student council and leader of the cheerleaders. She sees Chyna Parks as her competitor.
Angus Chestnut (Aedin Mincks) is a computer genius and also a member of the ANT club. He is overweight and avoids physical activity whenever possible. He fell in love with Olive, but she didn't reply. In the first two seasons it was only a supporting role, since the third season he has been part of the main cast
Cameron Parks (Carlon Jeffery) is Chyna's older brother. He prefers to stay away from his sister and the other ANT participants. From the third season onwards, Cameron is only a supporting role.
Supporting roles
Paisley Houndstooth ( Allie DeBerry ) is Lexi's best friend. She is very stupid and only realizes what is happening to her late, which makes it easy for Lexi to manipulate her. Like Lexi, she is a cheerleader, but her abilities are limited.
Susan Skidmore (Mindy Sterling) is the principal at Webster High. She is very conceited and uses the ANT program mainly to put herself in a good light. She tries every opportunity to minimize the school budget.
Darryl Parks (Finesse Mitchell) is the father of Chyna and Cameron. He loves his daughter and is very concerned about her safety. He works as a cop but everyone thinks he's a department store cop.
Gibson (Zach Steel) runs the ANT club and is the point of contact for members. He has some strange habits and is often childish. He wears an afro look and has some objects hidden in his hair.
Wacky the Wolf (Christian Campos) is the school's mascot. He can always be seen in his wolf costume and takes his job very seriously.
Kennedy Van Buren / Kumiko Hashimoto ( Piper Curda ) (Season 3) pretends to be Kennedy. She is founding a party and wants to run for the 2032 presidential election. She has a relationship with Fletcher.

The pilot episode , transplANTed , was broadcast on May 6, 2011, after the series finale by Zack & Cody on board as a preview . The official start of the series was on June 17, 2011. In Germany, the broadcast has been on the German Disney Channel since November 17, 2011. The first free TV broadcast of episodes 1–6, 8–12 took place on the Super RTL broadcaster , until May 6, 2012 only reruns could be seen. With the launch of the new Disney Channel on free TV on January 17, 2014, Super RTL stopped all Disney productions at the end of 2013. This means that further seasons of the series will not be shown on Super RTL on free TV.

The German first release of the third season took place from March 15 to April 5, 2019 on the Disney Channel app. In the first two weeks, the title was incorrectly given as the original title and not the German title.
