The Alfa Romeo 20-30 HP , previously ALFA 20-30 HP , was a passenger car from Alfa Romeo , previously from the Società Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili.

The company launched this upper mid-range model in 1914 as the successor to its mid-range 24 HP . The designer was Giuseppe Merosi . A four-cylinder in - line engine with 100 mm bore , 130 mm stroke and 4084 cm³ displacement developed 36 kW (49 hp ). It was mounted in the front of the vehicle and drove the rear axle. The transmission had four gears. With a wheelbase of 320 cm and a track width of 145 cm, the dimensions of the chassis corresponded to the previous model in its last version. The choice was between touring car and sedan . The touring car weighed 1000 kg. The top speed was 115 km / h. The chassis cost 12,000 lire in 1914 and 30,000 lire in 1920.
On November 23, 1919, the brand name changed from ALFA to Alfa Romeo . Production ended in 1920. The successor was the 20-30 ES Sport .
Between 1910 and 1920, a total of 682 vehicles were produced of the previous model, 24 HP and the 20-30 HP.
