The ALFA 15 HP was a passenger car from the Società Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili, the predecessor of Alfa Romeo .

The company brought this mid-range model onto the market in 1911, initially as a sports version of the 12 HP . In 1912 it replaced the 12 HP as the smallest model. The designer was Giuseppe Merosi . A four-cylinder in - line engine with 80 mm bore , 120 mm stroke and 2413 cm³ displacement produced 18.4 kW (25 hp ). It was mounted in the front of the vehicle and drove the rear axle. The transmission had three gears. As with the previous model, the wheelbase was 292 cm and the track width was 130 cm. The choice was between touring car and sedan . The touring car weighed 920 kg. The top speed was 95 km / h. The chassis cost 9500 lire .
Production ended in 1913. The successor was the 15-20 HP .
Between 1910 and 1915, a total of 330 vehicles of the predecessor, the 15 HP and the successor model were produced.
