design

Contrary to the trend at Alfa Romeo, the model has not received a major facelift since its introduction and has expired without changes.
The interior is largely similar to that of the Alfa Romeo 147 .

It was available with four different engines: three petrol engines and one diesel engine. The 1.8 Twin Spark has a maximum output of 103 kW (140 PS) and consumes 8.5 liters of fuel per 100 km. The 2.0 JTS with a maximum of 121 kW (165 PS) was the only engine with an automated manual transmission , the " Selespeed ". The gears were changed using the steering wheel shift paddles or the selector lever. There was also a city mode in this variant , in which the transmission acted like a fully automatic transmission. The two-liter gasoline engine consumed 8.7 liters per 100 km.
In addition, a V6 gasoline engine with 3.2 liters displacement and a maximum output of 176 kW (240 hp) and an average consumption of 12.4 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers was offered until mid-2007.
