All Inclusive (Original Title: Couples Retreat ) is an American comedy film from the year 2009 , when Peter Billingsley directed. The script was written by Jon Favreau , Vince Vaughn and Dana Fox . Vaughn and Favreau also starred alongside Malin Åkerman . The film was released in Germany on November 5, 2009. The film was produced by Universal Pictures, Relativity Media, Wild West Picture Show Productions, and Stuber Productions.

Since Cynthia does not become pregnant from her husband Jason, they are both considering a divorce. To save their marriage, the two want to book a vacation at a resort called "Eden", which offers couples therapy . The resort offers an attractive group discount, and to save money, Cynthia and Jason ask their friends to come with them. They manage to convince three other couples (Dave and Ronnie, Joey and Lucy and the divorced Shane with his girlfriend Trudy).
Once on Eden Island, they will be taken to the couples-only west side of the resort and will not be allowed to visit the east side of the resort, which is intended for singles. On the first evening, the concierge Sctanley informs the couples that all guests must attend therapy or leave Eden. Reluctantly, all couples appear at therapy.
In the first session, all four couples have to learn from their therapists that they have problems in their relationship. They endure the unusual methods of the resort owner Marcel, such as swimming with sharks or yoga classes with the handsome yoga trainer Salvatore. On the fourth evening, Trudy disappears to the east side of Eden, so that the remaining seven decide to look for her. After the couples arrive on the island, men and women go their separate ways due to an argument between Cynthia and Jason. The women meet Salvatore, who shows them the east side of Eden. The men meet Sctanley, who plays Guitar Hero and threatens to report to Marcel that they are leaving the west side. But Dave challenges Sctanley in the game, on condition that if he is defeated, he will show them the way to Eden East. Dave does not mention that he is also a big fan of this game, which he sells regularly and has mastered every trick in the book. So it happens that Dave defeats Sctanley, whereupon he keeps his promise and shows the men the way.
When they arrive, Dave “kidnaps” his Ronnie to spend time alone with her at the waterfall. Joey throws himself into the party frenzy, but soon sees Lucy dancing with Salvatore and knocks him down to be with his wife. Cynthia and Jason drink together and admit their problems. Shane meets his ex-wife on the east side of Eden, who tells him that she followed him because she still loves him. He watches Trudy as she can be properly "bottled" and enjoys the hustle and bustle. He realizes that the differences between the two are too great and breaks up with her in all friendship. All four couples then return to Eden West, with Shane being with his ex-wife.
The next morning they meet Marcel, who sees that the couples have been working on their problems. He releases them from therapy with symbolic farewell gifts so that the four couples can enjoy the rest of the vacation.
