action

David Seville keeps an engagement ring at home that the three Chipmunks think is for Dave's new friend Samantha. However, it is intended for another couple that Dave should give the ring to in Miami. The Chipmunks now believe that Dave wants to propose to his girlfriend Samantha in Miami. Therefore, Alvin, Simon and Theodore want to follow the two to Miami to prevent the alleged application. To do this, they team up with Miles, Samantha's son, to implement their plan. He has a credit card from his mother, but the money is only enough for a ticket from Los Angeles to Miami. So Simon and Theodore hide under Miles' shirt and Alvin in his backpack. During the bag inspection, however, Alvin's skeleton falls, which Miles claims is a stuffed animal. Miles then takes the motionless Alvin out of his backpack and bends him to prove his thesis. The inspector is therefore annoyed and subjects Miles to a body check. Simon doesn't know where to hide now, so he crawls down Miles' leg. Apparently he's so nervous that he urinates and drops a poop ball. The four are then sent to the gate. Alvin and Simon are now hiding in their hand luggage, while Theodore is in the hold with the cages. Alvin gets hungry and asks Miles if he has anything with him. At the same time, Theodore is talking to a monkey, which he releases. This then releases all animals in the cargo hold that can find their way into the cabin. The plane has to make an emergency landing because there were chinchillas in the cockpit. After the emergency landing, the four end up in Agent Suggs' office, who puts the chipmunks on the no-fly list. When Suggs leaves the room briefly, the troops take the opportunity and get into a taxi before Suggs can stop them. However, the money is not enough to Miami, so the taxi driver lets the four out at a saloon in Texas. You then decide to go for better or for worse. Miles and the Chipmunks sing and play music on the street to make money, which they can use to buy a ticket to get on.
