Neumünster District Court
The Neumünster District Court is a German court of ordinary jurisdiction . It is one of seven local courts in the district of the Kiel Regional Court and one of 22 local courts in Schleswig-Holstein .

The court has its seat in the city of Neumünster .

The court is located in the city center at Boostedter Strasse 26, right next to the Neumünster correctional facility . The courthouse was built from 1901 to 1905 together with the Neumünster Central Prison , today's Neumünster correctional facility. The houses built at that time are entered in the list of cultural monuments in Neumünster and are under monument protection .
Superior courts
The Neumünster District Court is the entrance court. Superior to him, the Landgericht Kiel and in further stages of appeal, the Schleswig-Holstein Higher Regional Court and the Federal Court .
