Ariane Krampe (* 1961 in Hagen , Westphalia ) is a German film and television producer .

Life

After graduating from high school, Ariane Krampe studied law, and even during her studies she worked as a freelancer for various private radio stations (1984 to 1986 for Radio RPR , UFA Radio and Bayerischer Rundfunk ), for the Süddeutsche Zeitung (1984 to 1987) and Bavaria Film GmbH (1987 to 1990). During her studies she already focused on media and copyright law and was admitted to the bar in 1991.

From 1991 to 1994 she worked as a producer at Bavaria Film GmbH, from 1994 to 1998 at UFA Fernsehproduktion GmbH. During this period she produced a number of episodes of the ARD series Marienhof (episodes 1–180) and Verbotene Liebe (episodes 1–250), several Rosamunde Pilcher films for ZDF and a total of 50 episodes of the Soko crime series.

In September 1998, the film and television production company teamWorx was founded by Ariane Krampe, the producer and director Nico Hofmann and Wolf Bauer. teamWorx productions such as the multi-part event The Tunnel , The Dance with the Devil - The Abduction of Richard Oetker and The Wall - Berlin '61 as well as ambitious films such as Wolfsburg , Toter Mann and Stauffenberg achieve great success with audiences and critics and won numerous awards (including the German TV Prize , Adolf Grimme Prize and Golden Camera ). In 2011, the two-part television series produced by her, Der kalte Himmel, was nominated for the German television award. After the merger of teamWorx, Phoenix Film and UFA Fernsehproduktion to form UFA FICTION, Ariane Krampe moved to the management of Zeitsprung Pictures GmbH alongside Michael Souvignier on October 1, 2013 and continued her career with an independent Munich office.

Since April 2015 the producer has been self-employed with her own company "Ariane Krampe Filmproduktion" in Grünwald near Munich. Ariane Krampe Filmproduktion is part of the Beta Film group of companies owned by producer and licensee Jan Mojto.
