April Hailer
April Gabriele Hailer (born January 6, 1959 in Heidenheim an der Brenz ) is a German actress , singer , and director .
Life
After April Hailer graduated from high school in 1978, she studied acting and directing at the Mozarteum in Salzburg .
Her theater career began in 1981 at the Städtische Bühnen Heidelberg. Further stations, primarily in the field of music theater, were: Staatstheater Stuttgart (1985, 1987), Freie Volksbühne Berlin (1985), Nationaltheater Mannheim (1986), Staatstheater Hannover (1988), Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz Munich (1990, 1991, 1993), Ulmer Theater (1991) and others.
Her TV career began in 1992 with the RTL consumer show Wie Please ?! , to whose regular cast she belonged until 1997.
From 1997 to 2000 she had her own program on ZDF , the April Hailer Show.
She played in numerous TV productions such as the feature films Drei Tage im April by Oliver Storz , Zart und Schuldig with partner Dieter Pfaff , Die Dickköpfe with Harald Krassnitzer and Ottfried Fischer , TV series such as Tatort , Traumschiff , Die Aubergers , the telenovela Butterflies im Bauch , the Swabian comedy The Church stays in the village and in children's films such as Charlie & Louise - Das doppelte Lottchen or The green cloud .
Since 1997 April Hailer can be heard in the children's radio show Sonntagshuhn on Bayern 2 in a double role.
Her stage solo April, April - Funny Women in Concert (TV director Pit Weyrich ) was broadcast by Bayerischer Rundfunk. She toured Germany with it. In 2004, 2006 and 2007 she was the leading actress in the Christmas revue Jingle Bells of the Berlin Friedrichstadtpalast .
In addition to acting, she makes music. As a child she learned the violin and later the oboe . She is the protagonist in many musicals and was a juror in the final of the national singing competition for musicals and chansons in 2013 and 2015.
Hailer was a guest lecturer at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg and works on the musical course at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding in Munich.
As a director, April Hailer developed the 40 roles of the off-Broadway musical I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change (2016, Deutsches Theater Munich ) with 8 graduates of the Masterclass . In November 2018, the premiere of her production The Addams Family at TfN Hildesheim followed. Currently (spring 2019) - also at TfN Hildesheim - the directorial work on the comedy Bella Donna by Stefan Vögel follows .
