The Bückeberge-Weg is a 51-kilometer long- distance hiking trail that connects the East Westphalian town of Porta Westfalica in the Minden-Lübbecke district and the Lower Saxony town of Bad Nenndorf in the Schaumburg district.

At Porta Westfalica ( , 45  m above sea level.  NHN ) starting the trail leads hikers up to the Jakobsberg 235.2  m above sea level. NHN , over the Nammer cliffs , through Kleinenbremen , Bückeburg , Bad Eilsen , over the eponymous Bückeberge and through Reinsen and Beckedorf to the destination at the spa park in Bad Nenndorf ( , 70  m above sea  level ). The lowest point of the path is 45  m above sea level. NHN at the train station in Porta Westfalica, a height of the Bückeberge is 348  m above sea level. NHN the highest point.

  • In the forest near the Nammer Klippen you cross the 9th degree of longitude (sign)
  • A special feature in Kleinenbremen is the visitor mine in part of the disused " Eisenerzgrube Wohlverwahrt" and the Protestant church . The clockwork of the church is identical to the Westminster chime of Big Ben ; Part of the Hohenzollern treasure was walled up in the church from 1944 to 1946 so as not to reveal it to the Allies in Berlin .
  • In the former residence town of the Principality of Schaumburg-Lippe , Bückeburg, hikers should take time to visit the Museum of City History and Schaumburg- Lippe State History. In addition, the city center with the Bückeburg city church and Bückeburg Castle with the mausoleum of the former dynasty of Schaumburg-Lippe should be mentioned.
  • In Bad Eilsen, in addition to the preserved historical architecture, the spa facilities, the spa park with old trees, especially beautiful large avenues, and the rosarium are particularly worth seeing.
  • In Bad Nenndorf, a visit to the “Kurapotheke”, the oldest building in Bad Nenndorf, once the hunting lodge of Count Wilhelm zu Schaumburg-Lippe , the “Schlösschen” in the spa gardens, and the fountain temple above the sulfur spring in the spa gardens, the landmark of Bad Nenndorf, is recommended. In the spa park, with trees that are over 200 years old, you can admire an avenue that is unique in Germany and consists of almost 100 rare Süntel beeches .
