The Bangladeshi U-23 national soccer team is a selection team of Bangladeshi soccer players . It is subordinate to the Bangladeshi Football Association BFF and represents it internationally at the U-23 level , for example in friendly matches against the teams of other national associations, at U-23 Asian championships and the football tournaments of the Summer Olympic Games , the Asian Games and the South Asian Games .
So far, the team has not been able to qualify for the Olympic football tournament or the U-23 Asian Cup. At the South Asian Games 2010 , the team won the gold medal for the first time. Bangladesh took part in the Asian Games five times and made it to the round of 16 in 2018 .
Eligible to play are players who have not yet reached the age of 23 and who are Bangladeshi citizenship .
