Bernhards is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Kottes-Purk in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 6 building areas with 3,602 m² and 6 gardens on 7,398 m² in the cadastral community of Bernhard , in 1989/1990 there were 6 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 26 and in 2009/2010 there were 13 buildings on 30 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 50 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 21 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 42 hectares and 24 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 36 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 24 hectares. Bernhard's average soil climate number is 22.9 (as of 2010).
