history

Bušince was first mentioned in writing as Busa in 1248 and belonged to Divín Castle until the 17th century , after which it was divided between Blauenstein Castle in today's Modrý Kameň and Divín Castle. In the Middle Ages the economy was based on agriculture and viticulture.

During the Turkish wars , the village fell into disrepair and, despite tough resistance from the Hungarian defenders, was handed over to the Turkish sanjak Szécsény (until 1593) in 1552 . Nevertheless, until 1683 it was more or less on the front line between the Ottomans and Habsburg Hungarians and was thus deserted. In 1720, 20 subject households lived here, with Balassa , Koháry and Zichy being important owners . In 1828 there were 86 houses and 836 inhabitants who were employed in agriculture.

Until 1918, the place in Neograd County belonged to the Kingdom of Hungary and then came to Czechoslovakia or now Slovakia. On the basis of the First Vienna Arbitration Award , he was again in Hungary from 1938 to 1944.
