The Cadre 45/2 World Championship in 1922 was the 15th World Championship, which was held until 1947 in Cadre 45/2 and from 1948 on Cadre 47/2. The tournament took place from April 18 to May 2, 1922 in the "Académie des Abbesses" in Paris , France.
history
The winner was the French Charles Darantière, who already finished fifth in 1920. Charles Faroux came second again. The future world champion Theo Moons started for the first time. In February 1922, an amateur world championship was held in Philadelphia (USA). The American Edgar T. Appleby won here. The world champions of 1921 (Edouard Roudil) and 1922 ( Arie Bos ) also took part here and finished fourth and fifth. The world championship was not recognized as an official world championship, but only as an "international tournament".
